Peppermint is a hybrid of aquatic mint and green mint, and was first described by Carl Linneaus in 1753. What characterizes the best quality peppermint is the high concentration of menthol, as found in doTERRA essential oil ® Brazil Peppermint. Often used in toothpastes and chewing gums for oral hygiene, Peppermint essential oil is one of doTERRA's favorite essential oils and also one of the best-selling.
Uses
- Put 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil with Lemon (Lemon-Sicilian) in water to enjoy a refreshing mouthwash.
- Put 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil in your palm with 1 drop of Frankincense (Frankincense) and aspire to enjoy an invigorating experience throughout the day.
- Before or after work, apply to muscles to help reduce tension.
How to Use
For topical use, apply 1 to 3 drops diluted in fractionated coconut oil on the skin, in the desired area. For aromatic use, put 3 to 4 drops in an electric scent.
Precautions
External use. May cause skin irritation. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of pregnancy or in case of treatment, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, ears and sensitive areas. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of vegetable oil. In case of irritation, discontinue use and seek medical attention. Keep the product away from light and heat.
